Two days after Charlie Kirk was murdered, I was looking through my prayer journal for something and was suddenly struck by what I ran across that the Lord had said to me on August 25th.
I had recently prayed and asked for Knowledge of Secret Things, as mentioned in Jeremiah 33:3.
“Ask Me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.”
And on August 25th, He told me a secret…and it made me thrilled for Charlie Kirk and maybe a bit jealous.
Jesus and I have some of the most beautiful and amazing conversations and this was one of them.
To keep the personal drama private, I’ll give you the CliffsNotes version for context:
I have been dealing with a very nasty person and Jesus asked me to do something very nice for them. Every ounce of my flesh screamed, “NOOOOO!!!” But my spirit said, “Yes, if you set the scenario for it.”
In that “yes” moment, I felt Jesus’s pleasure.
The kind of proud that has no words—just that forehead-to-forehead closeness, His hand on your cheek… pure adoration.
I felt that all day. And that’s where this excerpt begins:
I prayed:
“…I want more of that! I want more of You! I want all of You, or as much as I can get!! Just that feeling makes being nice to people, who are awful to me, worth it. Thank you for the incentive. I want more!
Nothing on earth can compare to that feeling and just when I think I’ve found it all…the depths and beauty of a love like no other…You take me even deeper into this well of treasure and hope and love. Is there more? Does it get even better? How?”
And I hear the Lord say:
“Sacrifice…when You sacrifice your life for Me, that’s when you’ve reached the limitless limit. So know this, Child, Daughter, if it comes to that, you will know the full extent of that best feeling ever. There is the greatest reward for those whose lives are sacrificed in loyalty to Me.
THE…GREATEST…REWARD!
So, do not be afraid if you are chosen to make that decision. Only a few get that option and almost none would be excited for that honor. But you? I believe you, Little but Mighty ‘Weird’ One, you now know the secret and you will confound your enemies with your joy and excitement. You are so fun to watch!
Yes, the World hates you, but you have a cheering section here. You are loved, little warrior! The Warrior Who Fights for My Heart! When you get here, we will dance and celebrate. You will not come home without carrying out what you were created for. I promise you that!
YOU ARE LOVED! YOU ARE NO ACCIDENT!
You are a threat to the enemy and hated sooo very much by him and it delights Me greatly. You delight Me greatly, Child…Daughter! Yes, Daughter of THE King, you are well loved…”
The secret knowledge!
Charlie Kirk DID sacrifice his life for Jesus!
And if this word is correct, he is experiencing that “best feeling ever” and is receiving THE…GREATEST…REWARD you can receive once your time here is done.
The “World” might have hated him, but he has a cheering section in Heaven that welcomed him home and a battalion of soldiers now ready to follow his lead in the hope that maybe one day both our lives and our deaths will have had the profound impact his did.
I think there are a lot of us who had been feeling held back, but at the moment of Charlie Kirk’s death, heard the Lord say:
“NOW.”
Now is the time to step into what I’ve been preparing you for.
Now is the time to stand.
Now is the time to take back what’s been stolen.
There is no doubt that God had a plan when He instructed Charlie Kirk to name his organization Turning Point. God wastes NOTHING and yes, Charlie’s death is a Turning Point for our nation Yes! We are at a Turning Point!
